Come out on March 10 and support JETAANC’s fund drive to benefit Japanese kids and families who were victims of the earthquake and tsunami in the Tohoku region of Japan on March 11, 2011. Three years later, despite ongoing recovery efforts, the young people of Tohoku still have many serious needs.
You will have an opportunity to donate to the Taylor Anderson Memorial Foundation, benefiting kids and families in Tohoku through a range of education and family support programs. The Foundation was established in honor of Taylor Anderson, an exceptional JET and human being who lost her life in the tsunami: http://www.taylorandersonmemorialfund.org/
We are pleased to say that GlobalGiving will match your donation at the event, doubling its impact!
You will learn about the work that the Taylor Anderson Memorial Foundation is doing and hear updates on the recovery efforts and ongoing needs in Tohoku. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.
